Low mount controls/high mount attacks visited during this evenings BJJ class at The MAC
We had another action packed Monday at The MAC at Haworth this evening with our morning and evening sessions hitting the spot with members flocking through our doors.
We kicked it off this morning with our striking session, giving those who attended chance to work on their punches, kicks and knees through a series of padwork rounds. From there they engaged in a little light, in most cases, sparring.
This evening was kick started by our newest kids session, with the group working their way through basic striking drills before transitioning onto the pads. The focus of the grappling was on passing the guard and then eventually linking it in with their mount and back-mount controls.
The final class of the day was our adults BJJ class, with the group starting off with a spot of shrimping before moving on to look at low mount controls before transitioning to a higher mount from which they could attack. The night ended with a little light rolling.
A big well done to everyone who attended the centre over the course of the day including Adam, Ryan, Mark, Tony, Andrea, Chris, Alain and David.
See you next time on the mats…
