Wind and rain doesn’t stop members of The MAC at Haworth turning up this Sunday morning

We had another busy Sunday morning at The MAC at Haworth today, with members flooding in to our three classes as they strive to improve themselves in all areas.

We started with our hour pads session, with those that attended having the chance to punch, kick, knee and elbow the targets, before turning their attention to a little light sparring.

Next up was the BJJ class, with the group looking at a couple of nice escapes from the arm-lock position which finished with an elbow slip, followed by a way to set up an attack on the opposite arm.

Finally it was the turn of the kids, and after looking at their basic strikes through the form of an obstacle course drill, we moved on to controlling a crocodile from top position before moving to the mount.

A big well done to everyone who attended the centre today including Chris, Jessica and Georgina.

See you next time on the mat…
